March 2002 marks our official opening as Northern California's first and only vintage travel trailer restoration works and since then our artisans and craftsman have been lovingly, and painstakingly....it can take a half-hour or more to remove a stubborn , rusted scew sometimes....turning out anything from full and partial restorations, to repairs and refurbishing for all sorts of vintage trailers from Airstream, to Spartan, to Silver Streak, to Westcraft, to Vagabond and more....even though I've not had time to publish everything we've worked on yet. In fact, because this work is so labor intensive this site is still under construction. However, you can learn more about Birchwood Beauties by clicking on the "About Us" link above; see sampes of our work by clicking on the "Restorations" link; and view our collection of vintage travel trailers for sale by clicking on the "Inventory" link. You can also find out about regional events related to vintage trailers by clicking on the "Events" link. But, the latest addition to this site is the creation of the Birchwood Beauties On-Line Store where you can now get vintage trailer art printed on a huge variety of media. If you would like information regarding the purchase or restoration of a vintage travel trailer, please contact Scott Lockwood by clicking on the "Contact Us" link, and to view other sites dedicated to vintage trailers be sure to click through the Vintage Trailer Web Ring links at the bottom of this page.
Birchwood Beauties is fully committed to providing the highest levels of quality in every area of the vintage trailer restoration process. In addition, 1930s, '40s and '50s styling ideas are a breeze....inspired by Lockwood's interest in Streamline Modérne architecture and furnishings for over 30 years, as well as a life long love affair with vintage
cars. So, please come back because they'll be a lot to see, including vintage travel trailer ads, photos and,
eventually an entirepage devoted to an in-depth look at the history of the trailer coach. We hope you've
enjoyed your visit and remember, when you're camping.......half of the time you'll be inside your trailer!
