1949 ROADMASTER 24
24 ft.

$1750.00

Bet you've never seen one of these before! In fact, the 1950 Roadmaster 30 ft. in the Birchwood Beauties Collection is the only other Roadmaster I've seen, but, it doesn't have that very cool, swoopy back end like this forty-nine does. I really love the shape of that duck-tail rear end so much, as well as her striped skin, and, the fact that she's 8 ft. wide, instead of 7.5 ft like most vintage trailers are, that I really had a hard time putting it up for sale. Especially, since she has only one significant dent in her entire skin, (at the front, at the lower left), the rest of her skin is nearly perfect and....she has the quintessential look of a vintage trailer if there ever was one. Her interior is also very cute, and 90% of the cabinetry is still in very good shape too, even though all of those water damaged wall and ceiling panels will have to be replaced. However, that would be the perfect time to replace all of the 57 year old wiring and insul-
ation behind too. Her floor is solid, and even though this coach didn't come with a bathroom, the bedroom is so big, that after removing the original
little sink that used to be attached to the wall underneath the medicine chest, someone installed a toilet. In fact, an entire bathroom could be built in
that corner and there would still be enough room for the bed. That huge vintage Coleman kerosene furnace didn't come with this coach either and,
in fact, would be total overkill it's so big. It should be removed, along with that fridge, which, is vintage, but, doesn't belong, or fit, in this coach.
This
is a project trailer, so, I haven't even bothered to see if the lights work, etc., as that would all be addressed during the restoration.
