1953 SILVER STREAK CLIPPER 22 FT.

An original "Rocketeer" style,1953 Silver Streak Clipper 22' camping trailer (no bathroom) serial number 7-2345 with those cool, wrap around Plexiglass windows in both front and back. Even though the former owner took a little creative license with some red & yellow paint, this rare old girl has an extremely good exterior skin, including the belly pan, and a mostly complete interior that's also in excellent shape.... including a new floor and the original green "cracked ice" formica around the kitchen sink. The cupboards, cabinets and closets are metal with birchwood doors, however, pretty much everything has been painted with a light coat of white paint and, unfortunately, her original Marvel fridge is missing....however, I may have another one available soon. I towed this beauty 150 miles w/o a problem....didn't even do the wheel bearings or tires....and she tows like a dream. I haven't checked out the trailers lights, her plumbing (there is a holding tank) or propane systems yet but her interior lights work fine. Considering her excellent original condition she won't be that difficult to restore.
