This 1958 model is another lucky find of an extremely well kept coach and it's apparent from the style and workmanship of the cabinetry that these were very well built trailers too. This one came from a local resort where, for the most part, it was only used on weekends and even though, as you can see by the strips of white paint on the curb side, that there used to be a large deck with a roof next to it, the skin itself is still in excellent condition. This coach would look really great with a new '50s style paint job anyway, to go with that cool brow over the front windows that to me looks an awful lot like a sunvisor from a 1940s or '50s car. Maybe something similar to the original turquoise & gray floor tile that still exists throughout most of the trailer....
and which may even still be underneath the carpet in the living room as well. What really sets this coach off,
though, is it's stunning, and 99% original....except for that storage unit across from the kitchen counter and
the light fixture above it....natural birch interior that's still in almost perfect condition. In fact, the only
area that would really need any work is a very small section below the curb-side living room
windows, behind the vertical drapes, where there's a bit of rot about the size of your fist.
But, you've gotta love that cool pink stove, that matches the pink kitchen sink, that matches the pink toilet, that matches the pink bathtub, that matches the pink bathroom sink!!! Talk about quintessential fifties....my friends, it doesn't get much better than this. Furthermore, the large, louvered, Jalousy windows thoughout this coach not only let in tons of natural light, but they all open as well for optimum ventilation.....even though the one near the kitchen needs to be replaced. Besides that, everything works, including the large, floor ducted furnace, plus, this trailer is so ready to go that a large bed, a microwave and a coffee maker even
comes with it. This park model coach would make an excellent guest house, back yard apartment,
a nice large office or even a place to show off your cool collection of fifties stuff. But with a
name like Terra-Cruiser, you may even be tempted to take her out on the road sometime!
