Summer meets & shows like Hot August Nights would also be a breeze in this classic truck....literally....because it has factory air that comes with all new parts! As you can see, there's also an Edelbrock air cleaner with a free flow air filter that not only gives this baby lots of fresh & clean breath, but it also produces more power and torque than stock air filters do, plus...it looks good, as do the aftermarket aluminum aircleaners with the embossed Chevrolet logo.
This truck was originally owned by a fireman who spent a lot of his free time keeping it in tip top shape. Its second owner, my designer/collector buddy Rusty Dobbs....also kept it up, as well as added some of the upgrades. In fact, there are only a few minor things that, when attended to, would almost put this truck in show condition...as well as increase it's value. They include repairing the dent and screw holes in the passenger's door, sanding down the bubbles in the paint on the lower part of the driver's door, repairing the dent in the side of the back bumper and then getting those areas repainted, and...re-upolstering the front seat. That, and possibly a new water pump, are about it....seriously...because this is really a GREAT driving, GREAT sounding and GREAT looking truck in REALLY GREAT condition and the price we're asking for it is at the bottom end of what the vintage price guides say it's worth....especially after these few simple repairs are completed.
